True prophets are most often persecuted, assaulted and sometimes murdered on account of their message of truth that exposes the hypocrisies and wickedness of political and religious leaderships. Sometimes a popular revolt against a true prophet on account of his messages that is not in conformity to the preconceived expectation of the people does occur many times.
